Lloyd Talent is a division of Think Projects, Inc. registered in Canada and the USA. Lloyd Talent began operating in 1995 and is a licensed talent agency in BC. #BA-2022-057602 Think Projects, Inc. dba Lloyd Talent.
Lloyd Talent represents talent in film, television, commercials, voice-over and print as a boutique agency. Lissa and Tom feel that a boutique agency allows for an environment that leads to a closer understanding of the needs of a talent and allows for more of a unity in achieving goals. We also seek talent interested in long term representation, some of our talent have now being with Lloyd Talent for over twenty years.
We are always seeking new talent and Lloyd Talent can help narrow the gap from students finishing their acting classes and trying to find the next path.
Lissa Lloyd
Lissa Lloyd is the President and Senior agent representing and managing principal talent signed to Lloyd Talent Agency in Vancouver (1989) and Lloyd Talent Management in Los Angeles (1990). Born in Toronto, Lissa became involved in music at a very young age. She is an accomplished musician and has trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto in piano, voice and flute. She has toured and recorded as a soloist and with various bands and vocal groups and has experience in musical theatre.
Lissa attended university in British Columbia and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Degrees in Business with minors in English, Education and Music with further studies in Entertainment Law. She has extensive experience in International business, sales and marketing.
Lissa's interests include interior design, health and fitness, herbology and naturalpathic medicine, music, wine, cooking, pilates, yoga, running, rowing, and cycling. Lissa has been a competitive athlete for most of her life especially in areas of gymnastics, track and field and volleyball. Now she is a competitive trail and marathon runner. And Lissa enjoys the sport of competitive rowing as a member of British Columbia and the Canadian National Rowing Association and is Vice President of her Rowing Club.
Fun fact, Lissa can fly an airplane. Her favourite pastimes are daily work-outs and fitness training, spending time with family and friends, motorcycling and spa pamperings whenever possible.
Tom Gusway
Tom Gusway is the Senior Talent Manager for Lloyd Talent in Canada and the USA. Born in Regina, Tom moved to Vancouver and owned a photography studio where he honed photography skills in the world of fashion which led to International model management placing international models in major cities around the world. He also opened an agency in Los Angeles and was instrumental in managing the transition of high profile models into the world of acting, many of whom have star level careers in the industry today. This experience and expertise resulted in the decision of both Lissa and Tom to collaborate as a team to create Lloyd Talent to manage and guide careers for film and television.
In addition to his management of talent, Tom is Chairman of the Board for a premier Makeup Artistry Academy and multi level Production Studio in Los Angeles. Tom has knowledge and experience in computers, digital applications, internet technology and marketing along with his management acumen. His extensive experience and intuitive technical skills led to being a part of the start-up team for one of the premiere digital based services currently used by the film and television industry around the world. He intuitively applies this experience and technology skill to keep Lloyd Talent updated with the best systems to operate an agency and represent talent efficiently in today's film industry.
Tom and Lissa are also investors in tech companies and are part of a current universal technical system with a proprietary process used by some of the world's leading companies including AirBus, Toyota and more.
Tom is an avid motorcyclist, is a registered aircraft pilot, an avid reader, plays chess and enjoys crossword puzzles.
Maria Croucher
Maria Croucher is our bookkeeper and brings over 20 years of office administration and bookkeeping experience to the team. Her well rounded skill set and experience includes office management of small to medium sized businesses in a variety of industries. She is an enthusiastic and hands on learner and loves to be challenged. Maria and her husband keep busy with their blended family of 5 children, from teens to young adults, who all benefit from Maria’s love of baking, cooking and party planning.
